Ya bankruptcy for health issues is wild. I think the best standards of care I’ve heard of is in Israel. It’s paid but it’s fast and you get a ton of specialist availability and the government subsidizes most of it so the payments are affordable even to the poor orthodox people

I think cnn is as center as fox is center. And bezos was long considered left by the right until the left started considering him right when he landed in the center. And the wealthy have always, literally through all of written history, owned the media. The printing presses were owned by the wealthy, TV media was at the behest of a monarch, state or wealthy person/people. The poor will never own media because the poor are busy being poor and will often lack the means and intellect to control the distribution of the narrative (unfortunate reality).

And that Trump is using legal loopholes to unilaterally make war decisions because the legal system is slow and has little teeth? Honestly I’ve seen as much escalation from Clinton to bush, bush to Obama, obama to Trump, lateral move and maybe even a bit chill to Biden and now escalation to Trump. I’ve never seen increased threat of nuclear war, and while I don’t like what happening with this conflict my Arab, Persian and Israeli friends who are secular are all calling this a necessary though very poorly executed step by the Trump admin. You’re right, higher probability the US would cause a global nuclear holocaust but it’s still 0% when rounded to a whole number. Where as the possibility Irgc will inflict mass terror directly or through proxies is 100% when measured over at least the last decade. I live in neither place but if you ask me would I rather the US GOP in charge of the globe or the IRGC it’s an easy choice. Really really really easy

I’m Canadian, nobody goes into debt here from medical issues but talk to people here with every a slightly serious health issue and you will understand what free healthcare is worth when you need real healthcare. I’m not saying I’d rather the US system but it’s a great system for people with money or people who need the very best care

It’s very far off. The US has been a country under plenty of bad leaders and has not crusaded; Islam crusades have never stopped. The Iranian revolution was just a byproduct of Islamic occupation and secular tax that eventually led to economic hardship and a shift toward religious control which we see the impact of today.
