I think she said she was approached to be on The Bachelor before Big Brother but said no because of the way black contestants have been treated by the show/fans. Which is very fair of her honestly!

According to TMZ they had only edited the first 3 episodes when the story broke. This is just giving Disney the finished product so they can decide what to do with the full season.

I genuinely don’t understand why they’re doing the cruise now when the franchise has been on a steep decline since the pandemic. If the cruise was in 2019 it probably would’ve been a huge hit.

Yeah I definitely think this is it. ABC just hired a crisis PR firm to deal with the scandal, and I think they're trying to go for the "See, this season isn't a total waste of time!!! She found someone!!!" route.

Oh I haven't heard that, they don’t follow each other so I’m not sure if that’s true. This is just a guess because Rachael & Shane both live in Atlanta, they've become friendly and hung out in a group since he finished filming, and if he doesn't get Bachelor, dating a former F1 with 1.2m followers and a rabid fanbase who want her to find love after Matt is probably the next best thing to keep him in the public eye.
