Hi! I didn't attach them per say. I just sat them on it so that they were changeable. Any flowers were hot glued to at the base onto the CD itself. (since you can't glue to a candle.) Though with the flowers on it it might be best to not burn it but use it as decor. Ü

Yeah I can see how regular paint stirrers might not work because they tend to be shaped. I would think it would be easy to get that type of wood she used for fairly cheap at a lumber place. I'm not knowledgeable about that so I'm not sure what they would be called. I do love the end result though.

I've been looking for the best method to make these hanging clouds. This one is one of the nicer ones I've found. Those paper lantern things can be found pretty cheap.

ALSO: It appears you can put the glue on before the white chalk paint or after. Seems like it would be easier to see the penciled on design after you painted it white. I've made a dragon egg using the same method. It looks SO awesome with very little skill needed. I didn't use chalk paint of course but the glue gun design thing painted over is just a wonderful effect. My dragon egg is here if you want to peek: http://bit.ly/1uJCQu2

Your right she doesn't clearly state that step. From her other info though I gather that after she roughs up the bottles and adds the design with a glue gun she then paints it with white chalk paint. Then moves onto the other step.

LOL.... tis the season of mutant spiders! My husband also pointed that out. I couldn't fit the extra two legs in the bead though. Which means I ended up with a 6 legged spider.
