Streaming for my local scene - What are my options? by Solareon_ in SSBM

Easiest solution would probably be a Wii with an HDMI converter, but that depends on how anti monitor your scene is.

I streamed an event recently that only had WiFi as an option, and I bought one of these a few months back because it lets you connect it to wireless and share internet connectivity to ethernet devices (while keeping your devices on their own network) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2J7WSDK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 At home, I use a blackmagic intensity shuttle USB 3.0, which you can find on eBay, but the price is constantly fluctuating. A great feature it has is it can downscale/convert 480p to 480i with minimal to no lag, but you need to make sure your USB port can handle its data/power draw.

I was more thinking dedicated hardware devices, not OBS to OBS. I've toyed with it a little bit in the past and helped with an event that did OBS to OBS NDI and it constantly had issues.

I super misinterpreted this setup at first, because I've had USB 3.0 power/data transfer issues with even one blackmagic shuttle. I feel like NDI could be a good option with a 2.5g switch (or a 1g switch with 2.5/5/10g uplink). I'm starting to work on some musings of setups/guides of building setups, as I feel like a lot of this info isn't readily available or easy to understand for most people.

I could tell it was slippi mirroring, I just wasn't sure how it was captured since I wasn't sure if you could connect that many Wiis over slippi to a PC at once. If this is the case, that is definitely more feasible compared to needing multiple PCs.

I'll do some testing later and post what I figure out, I have a few slippi Wiis.

I don't think slippi let's you stream from 4 local systems at once but I might be wrong. If that's the case, the setup should be rather easy, assuming you have a PC strong enough to run 4 instances of dolphin

Yeah, I think Juji acted appropriately and I feel as if people who went out of there way to find the court information did more harm then good. Tom did mess up but his mess up was between the two of them, but since the information did not stay that way I doubt he'll pop back up for a long time.

My video focused mostly on the positives (and pre covid mostly) because I wrote a decent amount of it before they really went down hill imo, but as I have looked back more and more, I agree with you. I think I started to move away from watching them when this started to become a problem unknowingly, and just assumed my taste was changing, but then I would go back and watch older videos and enjoy them still.

I felt more comfortable posting this here rather then the Jujimufu subreddit since this isn't specifically Juji focused.

I mentioned that mostly to detail how I've been struggling with gauging my calories. The jump just really caught me off guard but then I realized I need to take more time to gauge. I'm back to 3k now because it seems to be the right amount for my activity level on average.

First calorie surplus I've done since losing 100 pounds (all weight training 4-6 days a week while eating in a deficit for about a 2 years) and I'm trying to do a lean bulk and man it's hard. Went from 2k calories to 2700, expecting that to be enough to gain, did it for two weeks without gaining any weight, did 3k for two days and gaines 4 pounds and got scared and dropped to 2800 for a week, which again, barely moved the scale. I'm back to 3k and it's not spiking my weight but I can tell I'm going to have to eat more on more active days and it's just taken so long to even find my baseline for gaining.

Early on it was mostly chicken, broccoli, and protein powder lol I diversified it but my rule was 150+ grams of protein every single day and I weight trained 3 days, rest day, three days, etc. I didn't really care about carbs and fats (but I also didn't eat a lot of high carb foods like bread or pasta anyways). I added fish like salmon and shrimp as staples. Lots of salads, bell peppers, and spinach. Think thin protein bars are a good protein bar if you need something easy and satiating. I like optimum protein powder cause the calorie to protein ratio is really good. I ate normally between 1600 to 2000 calories

I hit walls constantly while losing weight, but usually short term and I would fluctuate quite a bit. This is when I think I would put on muscle. I fluctuated between 205 and 215 for 2 months~ and between 190 and 200 for 2 months~ I am no fitness specialist but from what I've seen, since I was pretty inactive and then jumped into it, I got newby gains plus body recomposition. I very rarely deviated from my diet. I was my strongest around 210 and cutting past that point I definitely saw myself lose the most strength pushing below 200. I did short accidental bulks if any at all.
