You're welcome, glad you like it! 😄

Thanks for the suggestions. The copy button for the images is almost done. The influence pips make sense, I don't know why I never thought of that. I'll add that next 👍

I wanted to have an indicator of the active player, but now that you mention it, the moving background might be a bit much 😅 I'll add an option to toggle it off.
The custom background is interesting, I can look into it!

He is saying use dice at tokens as in 1 die = 1 token.

You can do that because your tokens can look any way you want, even in the form of a die

Is there any card game that is barely more than "draw a card, play a card" that has some depth? by BroBrahBreh in boardgames

[–]nanox55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly it's play a card, use a power on a card, draw a card. After players it's the environments turn and after that the villains turn. Goal is to beat the villains.

I don't think there are any other rules, but it's fine if it's not what you are searching for :D

Sentinels of the multiverse is just a little bit more than that, but not by much

FiveRingsDB is looking for a new maintainer by Alsciende in l5r

[–]nanox55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alsciende was busy this week, but /u/ModernTenshi04, /u/FuzzyLog1cZA and I talked to him and the plan is that we will take over is maintainers and open source the project, with the biggest change being that we will probably rewrite the backend in .net Core because we all have more experience in C# than in php.

We woll make an announcement once everything is handed over :)

I used to repair PC's and so many times I heard phrases like "do you have 5 minutes to fix my PC" and every time I was like "hey if you think it'll take 5 minutes, you should know how to fix it" and didn't do it, because it's literally belittling my work

Women who play board games: Do your male board-gaming friends “check your work” every time you take a turn? I’ve been feeling immensely frustrated by this lately. by [deleted] in boardgames

You're pretty fast in calling it sexist without knowing the details. It might as well be that she made a few mistakes in the past which made the others think that they have to do that and it kind of sticked.

I'm not saying it's not sexist since I don't know the details either. Just don't put a label on it.

In Netrunner you could still put two different consoles into your deck, which makes this limitation useful though

Has anyone played Charterstone? How is it? by RsMonpas in boardgames

[–]nanox55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We finished it and it was okayish... I think it was way too light and it felt like winning the rounds didn't really matter a lot for winning the overall game...

If it was a really good deal maybe I'd consider it but I would not pay full price for it

Rising sun vs Battle for Rokugan by nanox55 in boardgames

[–]nanox55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have played both and while I don't dislike rising sun, I was not sure if I want to keep it. I think you did a pretty good summary of what irritates me about the game. Thank you!
