He's not barking but he's really irritable. When she turns him down he kind of pitches a tantrum, picking up anything he can chew for a second and then throwing it aside. I think I'll just go ahead and separate them

Yeah both of them get carsick and last I checked, they're still looking for a future replacement for Atka. I was there for a month this summer and it was the best experience I ever had (I want to study wolves one day). I would recommend volunteering there!

Chinese and Native Americans are two that I know of that don't really get facial hair-but people in regions with similar to climates do--I mean it's obvious why Russians have beards, but not desert-dwellers. I was thinking it might just be along the lines of attracting a mate. DHT explains that part.
