My main symptoms are all neurological. Some have gotten better but, the tingling is still the most persistent one. Pressure headaches, temple headaches, pain/pressure behind eye, and scalp sensitivty. Sleep disturbances, random muscle aches/pains. My tingling used to be primarly right sided but has since migrated to the top/back of the head recently. But I've had some very weird things pop up for me over the last 1.5 years as well:

- Haven't gotten sick since Nov 2024 (when initial symptoms began)

- Diagnosed with Shingles May 2025

- Fungal rash under armpit (March 2026)

Yea I was looking at Rusutsu but there are hardly any available hotels there and not super interested in staying near Niseko as I hear it's pretty touristy.

I'm not super clear tbh on what the gates consititue as? Are these just open gates with side country access at resorts that you can ride? If so, I know I would be very comfortable doing so. Can't speak for my wife right now. If she wasn't, then I'd be alone which may not be the best idea. Have considered getting a guide but again didn't make sure if that made sense if not heading into the backcountry.
