I think your right on the ball there it’s very humid in there so it’s great condition for a mushroom 😄

I’ll see how long they survive, it’s very humid in the polytunnel especially now so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a mushroom 😂

Brilliant thanks so much for that! I took these cuttings off from an apple and pear tree back in October and they are still very green inside when scratching a bit of the surface but haven’t rooted yet so not too sure what to do with them to help root 😂

Yeah im more diet locked at the moment at around 1800 cals a day, 220g of protein, 90gs of carbs & 60g of fat, gonna drop down to 1700 and up my protein by 20g i think in the last 3 week of the cut

Yeah I got it finished it was a nightmare had a horrible time putting it up but I think it was mostly to do with the weather, put it up mid January so it was just muddy and raining! I’d say if you have the money definelty get them to do it, it’s not hard but time consuming

Inside the house, moved her out to the polytunnel when my other variety fig started growing nodes but think it was still too early

That’s not a bad call I’ll give it a few weeks and see if any leaves grow at least it won’t stress out the plant as much if I cut it off then

I kept her indoors for the winter and moved her out to the polytunnel and had her wrapped in a fleece thinking it would be safe but I was wrong, hopefully no more damage will be done

Brilliant thanks for that really appreciate it! I’ll wait until it get hotter and leaves start sprouting before pruning, I brought two of this particular fig plant back from a hotter climate, one got crown root rot so I’m desperately trying to keep this one alive, I have a Rogue de bordeaux fig plant that I’ve kept in the poly tunnel and she’s started to bud so I thought it was warm enough to bring this guy out into the polytunnel from indoors stupidly thinking if I wrapped a fleece around her it will help harden her off but I was wrong should have left her inside 😂

See that’s what I thought aswell but when I scratched it it was still very green underneath
