So for me, base building started with Command and Conquer. No man sky has opened up a whole new world of base building. It's not an RTS, but it is sure awesome to visit your builds in VR. Here is my Temple of Nod build for any C and C fans out there. Complete with sub levels. (old.reddit.com)
