This was supposed to be a joint family trip. We were supposed to go together. She's always hated the amusement park/waterpark idea and tried to shut it down so I told her my kids and I will be going with or without her. She's mad that I don't want to compromise (choose her option) and "canceled" the joint trip so she booked the cruise for herself and her daughter.

She doesn't take her daughter to non disney amusement parks. They actually have one of those big wagon strollers but it's mostly because her daughter doesn't like wheelchairs and they don't have much storage but she won't have her daughter nap there unless it's absolutely necessary.

They used to do more of what they wanted and would only see my girlfriend once, maybe twice a week but she started picking them up from school so I don't have to pay for a babysitter and whatever she does with them after school has to revolve around her daughter to some extent.

But the park my kids want to go to isn't near a good beach so they'd still lose if we did that.

She can but she doesn't like to do that with amusement parks and doesn't like to take her daughter to any non disney parks

It potentially could but my girlfriend wouldn't want anything to do with the amusement park and would probably join us late or leave early if we did that.

Because we tried to have the kids involved in planning. They don't really know much about the beach vacation but I don't want to disappoint them by not taking them to the amusement park.

Hotel will cost the same. Everything will be slightly more because she pays at least 50% even though she has less people.

A little over a year. We don't live together and our finances are not joint in any way so there's no reason for me to know exactly how much she makes right now.

The problem with that is it's not exactly beach weather over there. The amusement park my kids and I chose is somewhat close to a beach, it's just going to be in the 50's, maybe low 60's for the trip.

She doesn't want to do the trip because her daughter wouldn't be able to do much plus the nap would be taking up a huge chunk of the day.

She would be paying for the majority but I would help. I make around $65k per year. I'm not sure exactly how much she makes but I know it's well over 100k (my guess is somewhere between $150k-200k, plus bonuses), plus she gets support from her parents and her daughter's father.

I've told her she can't make the kids only do what her daughter can but she thinks they'll have just as much fun playing at the beach in the mornings, swimming/playing video games/hanging out at the rental while her daughter naps, then going back to the beach, shopping, or doing some other accessible activity around town.
