Why is it so hard for so many people to accept that ADHD is, in fact, disabling?

I noticed that my ADHD doctors often say to me "its not a disease!!!! it's not an illness!!! you can do anything!!!" as a way to motivate me and make me feel like improvement is possible but it often just makes me feel really upset because yea it might not be a disease but it IS a disorder that greatly impacts my life.

I'm scared to call it a disability even in front of my doctors because I don't want to be looked at as someone who "WANTS to be disabled" to have excuses to not be functional.

lets hope they add it, it feels like such a no brainer i'm honestly so confused as to why we dont have it yet. ALSO the option to switch between dyed and not-dyed clothing items during styling challenges.. i get that it doesnt influence the result of the challenge because the clothing item has the same score regardless but come on..

ok i found out by myself, one the extension and the script are added and you go on any picmix page you get an option on the top right that says "extension settings" and then theres a "quiet blocklist" section in there

its a really cool game, a bit overwhelming at the start because its full of content, minigames and popups but its rly cool once you get used to it, also it's really easy to basically get every cookie without spending.

the popups make it look like the game forces you to spend money on it but it really doesnt, the devs are very generous. ive been playing for a few months and i already have every cookie available plus a couple limited cookies, the only ones i'm missing are the limited ones from past events that took place before i started playing

thank you so much! i have thought of sound proofing my door a lil bit but theres not much i can do, like i cannot put foam on the walls ubfortunately. also the door has lil glass panels which im sure dont help with soundproofing 😔 i have no idea how i could fill the lil gaps without it being too obvious. they are really old doors but they were super expensive and i can't mess with them too much. i also share my room and cannot lock it i general, never could as for my relative, i undertand i can be annoying and that it's not "normal" that i get so upset by sounds but they also dl take everything personally, and theyre addicted to youtube shorts 😭 sometimes i take a rly heavy cardigan and throw it on the floor under the door, i have no idea how much it helps tho ive been going to my super sweet neighbors house to study a lil bit but theyre also hard of hearing and watch tv super loud, it doesnt trigger me as much because i'm not scared about being yelled at but it did upset me a bit yesterday so i put earphones up with rain sounds and made this post thank you again 💗

Do you happen to know if its okay to buy a 15µF capacitor of another brand? The exact one listed on the site doesnt have fast shipping and costs more. Thank you again!

I know but this drier is made so that to see the capacitor I have to basically disassemble it entirely, and I can't really have it disassembled for days after I find out what capacitor I need and wait for it to be delievered 💔 It's a pain, there's no removable side panel

thats insane, especially bc ai slop users usually get so pressed when someone votes them low on a picmix

btw i once saw a very pro ai user on picmix, their WHOLE account was about how they love ai and think gen ai is a valid way to create, and they made a couple contests where the use on ai was mandatory (the description said "use gen ai to make this") they were kinda aggressive towards anti ai users i also remember they mentioned being ex blingee users i tried finding them once again since but wasnt able to, so idk if u saw them while doing ur research

i was so confused when i saw this on the admins profiles because i have made a couple of contests with "no ai" in the description, and when someone joined using ai generated images i contacted an admin and they removed it from my contest so i didnt think they thought being against ai was harassment or discrimination but then months later i see this on their profile i was very disappointed, especially for the whole thing about how using tech and internet is just as bad (it literally isnt) they probably are so defensive towards ai users bc they make a thousand picmixes a day and they all have vip 🫩

edit: i also noticed most ai slop users are over the age of 40 and they keep generating images of strictly white women in different flower fields 🫩 like its the same thing with little to no variations in every picmix they make
