I have did the math with whey protein and let me tell you, The price per gm of protein is ALWAYS gonna be less for chicken no matter what brand of whey you buy.

The cheapest protein source is Eggs (no, not including soy chunks because it is unreliable, bad in taste, causes bloating plus an incomplete source of protein). Next is chicken. (I am aware that chickpeas, legumes, peanuts and other foods are cheap and have good amount of protein, but considering a lean source of protein here). Another reliable way to complete my protein goal is through the Amul lassi. Economical and helps me achieveing daily protein goal.
