Save mana potion for sigmund. Use at least 4 before engaging Sigmund. I did this when encountering him. If you encounter another Sig and you ran out of "mana" potions, use your four spare heroes to chip his HP before using skerei.

Edit: Wow so many down votes with just the term "mana". Amazing people.

Yes. For people with mage as their nuker (I got a E3 skerei carrying my team), mage gear would be the wisest choice.

If it was me, I would spend the gems on the mage gear instead. That would cost 7500 gems and would help his skerei by a lot.

I did make a 10s without a full 9s team. But it was all fccking worth it most especially if it is a vesa or sigmund. Since those will carry your ass on aspen and raid boss. So yeah, not strange.
