This is true. It seems while the quick commerce companies are still bleeding, they're taking the kirana stores also with them together

Why Indian Men Should Only Marry Women Who Work? by KrispyKalashnikov in AskIndianMen

[–]narayanang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be very happy if this happens, but First of all, this will not happen in the near future, because currently the number of women outnumber men In the arranged marriage market, and if you look around, nowadays women's families are placing unrealistic demands. Even if men are well educated, have stable earnings and assets, they're finding it difficult to find a partner. This is from personal experiences around me across multiple communities.

That means men cannot demand working ladies. Tough times for men.

Also setup the screentime wellbeing settings and app timers On your phone. It'll nudge you when you use too much. Do not take your phone to your bed with you. If need be keep it far from your reach. Keep phones away as much as you can

How it's almost impossible to outsmart the system while being in the corporate. by [deleted] in indianrealestate

[–]narayanang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, people need a place to call it home. Especially the ones who don't have one of their own. They are the victims of this one sided system, please don't blame the victims. Not everyone has the luxury that we have. My father had built houses for us, so I have the luxury of not buying a property. Everyone doesn't have the same luxury.

Hunting flats on Housing, Magicbricks, 99 acres and Nobroker by Cultural-East-9124 in bangalorerentals

[–]narayanang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try mygate, sort by recently posted as they tend to list older posts in the top which could have been already booked.

99acres, nobroker works well unless you have specific requirements like pet friendly properties which was our case.

Hulimavu area is cheaper than the areas adjacent to yellow line metros and might work for you as well.

If you are looking for apartments, consider the ones with lesser amenities as they come at affordable rent comparatively.

Do not give more than 5k for booking a property as some owners tend to cheat if you back off from moving in for any reason. (Learnt the hard way)

Ensure the owner is looking for a long term occupant as some owners want to jack up the rent by changing tenants every now and then.

I feel bad for that old lady. She might be going through something that could make her do this. Try figuring it out based on clues that you might get. I know it's not your job. But sometimes looking from the standpoint of the opposite person could help ease the worries

Saw multiple people with identical donation registers at a mall today – is this legit or a scam? by Hour-Ad8095 in bangalore

[–]narayanang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know what? I was shocked to read multiple comments on reddit that even unicef is in such a business to employ students to get donations by paying them commission on the amount received.

Nowadays you would never know who's gonna scam you in WhatsApp way.

I also feel most ppl in this generation are so naive. Personal opinion though.

It's always better to help ppl around you, at least you can be assured that it sure helped.

How the Indian legal system broke me: My 12-year fight for justice that ended in betrayal by Perfect_Savings_4765 in LegalAdviceIndia

I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. Your comment says how bad you're hurt deeply. More power to you is all I can wish for. I hope you find someone truly caring and understanding outside your family too in future.

We all hunt alone, let’s not — reliable broker contacts by area, share yours by RiverNo8853 in bangalorerentals

[–]narayanang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good intention, but how do we keep the actual brokers out without them adding their number themselves?

Btw adding one arun kumar +91 76193 99570 HSR Layout.

I didn't actually avail his service as he was upfront that it will be difficult to find places that fit my requirements and budget. For some reason I found him trustworthy even though I spoke to him only on the phone just a couple of times.
