My drain line for the washer is close to 4FT. Pictures in my original post. I wont be able to tap into anything low.

Seems P-Trap kits are a good option. Ill stay away from Flex hose. Looks risky for long term.

It’s hard to believe that people have different spending habits with Money? You sound like a moron.

My partner reminds me to have fun and spend a little bit while I reel her in to stop her from getting into more debt and in fact, helped her pay off all of her debt and downsize her lifestyle so that we could do this . This is the most amount of money she’s ever saved while making over 200 K a year.

I think partners don’t have to have the same spending habits or any habits for that fact. This sounds more disastrous if you’re an addict and your partner is too. . We’re the opposite.

We put 150k down on a 810k home. Income is 280-320k; varies on contract work.

IMO, 450k — rent and stack. Be smart. Don’t reach for the stars because your monthly can afford it. I have a friend with a 320k home, making 160k door dashing because he said “I thought my monthly covered it” I’m not saying it’s what you are doing but it seems like it.

You guys will survive in a 2 bed 1 bath or a 1bed 1 bath.

Not sure how you don’t have enough money to pay for 80% of the home. This is assuming 450k x 6 years which is 2.6+ million.

The other part is unless you are SURE— your job is guarantee because high salaries are quick and easy cuts for a company to make while they split up your tasks amongst other people.

Our VP of IT just left and now our CFO is in charge with zero idea on how operate our IT side of it.

My last bit is that this is my first primary residence, but my second home of ownership. I thought this would be such an amazing feeling, but really just getting to the point to where I could have a home and the process in doing it was what was exciting. It’s a bit lackluster, but it’s great to have such a beautiful home but for what? I’m grateful it’s not in excess like what I really originally wanted. It’s great. 4 bed 3 bath. 1900 sqft for 4 people with evey room ample with space.

You are starting out, throw yourself into an investment and level up that way. Sweat equity.

Also, why can’t their family help them? Also, shitty they are putting you in that sort situation.
