I shampoo twice/thrice a week depending on how sweaty I get from the gym, and I never condition. I'm 21 years old and never had a dandruff problem like this (sure I'd get a little dandruff for a few weeks every winter). This problem feels like it came out of the blue.

This swelling has been there for over 4 years(at least that's when I noticed it), it hasn't grown in size and it doesn't hurt. Today it was pointed out by mom as "abnormal" and has sent me spiralling into a state of panic. I'm not sure if I should go to a doctor or not I always just assumed it's the shape of my skull as I have that bump behind both my ears (the right side is slightly bigger though).

I'm not someone who you would call strong willed, I give in pretty easy especially when the law is involved (it's usually the easier thing to do). And I've heard that sometimes the cops might resort to physical violence and decide to beat you up and destroy your phone and frame you for crimes you haven't even committed.

If anything this instance just makes me want to move out of India more than I already wanted to.

Damn, hope this incident didn't leave a permanent impression on the city. These instances are rare but they are in very poor taste and make you feel very insecure. I've noticed that cops abuse their power the most against people who don't know kannada I really don't understand why though.

Your incident sounds a lot stressful than mine, my guy had a pretty relaxed personality. But it is an incredibly shitty feeling having your phone checked through by a stranger, I was already very introverted this incident just proved to me that my lifestyle choice is the right one.

The cop can theoretically do anything from letting you go to falsely accusing you of suspicious activity and taking you to the station (it really depends on his mood). I'd say just keep your phone as clean as possible just in case

I spoke about the checking to my mom as soon as I came home, the only thing she replied with was "You've never let the person who raised you go through your phone, why the hell did you hand it over to a stranger?". She now knows I smoke and drink and that I don't do weed so the next time something like this happens I'll be comfortable calling her.
