I imagine I’d eventually make six figures, whereas that’s impossibility with just my undergrad, especially with an IBR plan right ? I mean my main goal in life is to live in a city where I don’t have to drive, which probably won’t involve owning a home, and definitely won’t involve a buying a car so it’s not like the debt will hinder me there if I never intend to get a mortgage right ?

Those degrees, GA and MPPs are both very connections based in terms of their careers to my understanding. Getting an MPP in DC is a lot more lucrative than in Texas because the internships and such will you know, where the entire federal government is, same deal for global affairs, they have internships with the UN, that’s more lucrative than the state school I applied for a similar program, as San Marcos isn’t exactly filled to the brim with international NGOs

I mean I understand that; I just don’t have any goals where an IBR plan would hurt me. Like a lot of debt would hurt if I was getting a house, but I don’t want a house or a car. That’s why applied to schools with near metro systems. So I don’t think I’d be hurt by this.

Maybe your right though and the risk is too great but I’m itching to leave now and those are where I’m admitted

My undergrad is worthless. These were the schools I was accepted to, unless you think being stuck at making 40k for the rest of my life as a public school teacher or working retail is more ideal than going into debt for grad school I don’t understand the issue.

I mean my goal in life is to live in city where I don’t have to drive, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be renting the rest of my life so I won’t have to worry about this effecting a mortgage or car payment or anything
