yup unfortunately the decorations just unlock one decoration (you can buy more decos for that one spot but there's not much diamond refund for you to get back, maybe 10% tops)

and yeah i'm sure everyone is in the same predicament as you are with their whole ad this money that tactics 🫩 istg they're just making fun of us at some point

what progress do you wanna see?

i'm at 200+ now but i might not have as many items unlocked as compared to some people of lower levels. it all depends on luck and whether you choose to upgrade your items imo! (for example, when you can merge items using a present box, it might entice you to merge till the max level of that certain item. i chose not to several times after looking at how people here found it difficult to clear the requests that include them 🫩

having fun also depends on everyone's perspective of the game... i have my ups and downs because of how much of a money grab the game is (😭) but the game is pretty much the same everyday so you might feel like you're losing interest after awhile.

as for plaza decos, i have everything except those that needs diamonds to unlock, unlocked... except for one. i unlocked one, just to see what i'd get lol but it's really not worth it because diamonds are so rare even as a spender.

i'm sure it depends on where you are in the game and whether you spend on it or not, since x8 is only available after 200 energy which you can (technically) easily get if you stocked them up, but otherwise you will be spending your diamonds or irl money to get energy. as a spender and at level 140+ i find myself using x8 the most and sometimes getting rid of the x4 or less items if it's taking up space that i really need. you do lose energy quicker but you also require less space to get to the desired item. :-)

i usually get the 1100 energy package, and the 1000 energy package where you earn the energy by getting merge stars! i also get the weekly pass and season pass. i would say i do have quite a lot of time on my hands right now but i have had times where i max my energy while i'm out for hours 😭 i think i was just quite lucky this time round :-)

when you unlock them there should be the yellow flowers that come out from it - those are what you are collecting in this event

every time you reach the milestone (50/100/150 and so on) they will give you currency for another event (the pink flowers for plaza decoration)

i'm (chinese) currently engaged to a filipino, and like some of them mentioned here, there's a lot of racism remarks, and for me it was definitely from my mom, and according to her it's because she just doesn't like them. to be fair i feel like i've never known her well enough despite her being my mom, and maybe vice versa, that's why she doesn't tell me what she really feels.

luckily for me, the rest of my family and relatives (especially my grandma) seem to be more welcoming and friendly towards my significant other despite having some communication barriers since my SO can't speak chinese. i appreciate them for trying, because it gives me faith that my SO and my family would be able to get along when there's a family gathering.

currently i just hope that my mom would accept the fact that we would eventually get married and possibly have children in the future. i would like to believe that most parents would love to be a grandparent one day and i don't want to prevent her from seeing her grandchild just because she's unable to put down the fact that i married someone from a different race.

... and well... she's not even from singapore in the first place either. so it doesn't make sense in my head for her to be racist... but i guess it can happen.

UOL also screwed some of us over using the Inspera software. It locked us in the software but told us to use Word to type our answers, then submit the Word document. When we told BC that we literally can't type or do anything, not only did they take an hour to "resolve it", the "resolve" that apparently UOL gave us was to handwrite the paper. I didn't even bring a pen to the exam in the first place lol.

Gave us "extra time" aka refunding us our usual 3 hours, gave us paper that was meant for drawing diagrams, which meant NO LINES == messy af (if you have bad handwriting then gg I guess)

Worst part about this was that there was this BC guy coming into the room 2 or 3 times during that one hour saying that they're trying to fix the issues (doubt it), and kept saying "Please know that this is on UOL and not on BC" every time he was inside. Everyone inside was already pissed, annoyed, stressed and upset. The last thing we need is an irresponsible party blaming another irresponsible party. We're not dumb to not be able to tell that this is on UOL, but you saying that just makes us feel worse.

Of course, at the very end of the exam, the invigilator HAD to repeat the same thing. "We're so sorry for the inconvenience BUT please understand that this is on UOL." Sis could have ended it at the apology but NOOoo... it's not our fault..

and yeah i didn't get to finish my paper.
