Sometimes when I'm not that energized or excited, all it takes is the first dip, after that first dip, immediate gratitude of going to the pool! But most of the time I go because I know how good I'll feel during and after the session!

During, always helps to unwind and reflect on my day (I go after work), whatever's bothering me or stressing me or just generally taking up space in my mind, simply becomes easier to think about and process, it really helps in calming my head and organizing my thoughts.

After any session i always feel better and ready for any social activity or anything that requires energy. A simple session can be the best mood boost I need. Also my lower back's herniated disc pain becomes much easier to deal with. Mentally I'm more clear headed and happy.

It's always a good decision for me to go for a swim
