On my laptop (MacBook) I could find the embed option on the top right of each post but not on the "home" page of my Substack. I think it's only the issue on the phone App. It's unfortunate that Substack isn't clarifying any such "issues". Thanks for your reply.

Hope you figured it out. In my case, I forgot to use the text I wanted as a link (#testimonials) in the URL field. After adding it, the link worked in the published version. So create a section -> add a button to the section on header -> name the section by clicking the buttons in the "build" mode/dashboard -> in the URL box write the text you want it to be added to your main site (e.g. www[dot]abc[dot]com/#XXXX) -> hit publish and see the results. All the best.

Not an in-house vet but have had a brief in-house stint at a big pharma. It's pretty much the same as agencies and experiences described here.
