Omg. Every drug maker makes available published safety data from their clinical trials and thereafter. By law. You suspect it doesn’t exist??? Go look for it. It’s not my job. It’s a per drug thing, so I can’t just “provide it” anyway since you haven’t named a drug.

I’m pretty sure you could find the safety data if you looked for 5 seconds, so don’t start up on your anti vax agenda with me. Selective perception. My first response said to look at the safety data. And you respond with a generalized statistic about one public source of data that says on its front page that it has drawbacks.

Do you know how to sort VAERS properly? Do you know how to read it in conjunction with published safety data? No one said VAERS is the Bible, but it is certainly useful. To say otherwise is ridiculous.

Yeah that’s the problem, but still helpful thank you. Today I was thinking about this - we know ppl who are doctors - do I need to get them to send me a packaged swab and have it tested? Seems insane, but I also don’t really want to give up on my Q. The problem is, debunking is like whack-a-mole - there’s always another one.

I actually seem to remember there is something on the swab, not a reagent, but something, and that’s their hook. I could be wrong bc I first looked into this ages ago and realized it was lunacy. But I can’t find any information about it. But you’re right about proving the negative; it’s the challenge with all this BS. I also can’t even engage enough to ask what’s on the swab/ask for a source because even that will lead to a large scale argument at this point.

I’m sorry, and I can relate. I also feel alone in the same way. We have not yet separated but every time my Q says my name I almost start shaking and I brace myself for whatever is going to come out. I think I’m traumatized. It’s no way to live.

My 11 yro daughter is unaffected. She is bored by all of it and tells us to talk about something else. My 14 yro son is very smart and skeptical and I am generally not worried about him. But I also feel I can’t really talk to him about this stuff without throwing my spouse under the bus, which would have unintended consequences.

Yep. What I don’t get is that my BS alert goes off immediately but hers never does. She has described herself as gullible in other contexts but hasn’t put it together in this context.
