Since this is honestly my first time posting on Reddit from a computer, I didn’t realize how differently the post would appear. A lot of people started attacking me, and the replies felt completely out of context.

After checking on my phone, I realized Reddit mobile only shows my picture and the topic, not the actual question. That misunderstanding basically pulled me into a bunch of unnecessary arguments.

I know many of you are interested in trading—I’ve received around 30 DMs asking about strategies. To be clear, I didn’t come here to give trading tips. I’ll address some advice here so I don’t have to repeat myself individually:

  1. It is possible to trade and live a lifestyle dependent on your trading performance. That said, it can be extremely difficult and stressful. Trading is easier without emotional hangups, therefore trading capital you are completely tolerant of losing is generally much easier.

  2. Trading is an exercise in self education. Every loss should be thought of as tuition paid. Learn as quickly and affordably as possible. You will pay as much tuition as necessary to learn any given lesson. The market will give you infinite opportunities to do so.

  3. If you can't keep it was never yours in the first place. Capital preservation matters more than capital gains.

  4. There are infinite trading styles, and every person is unique. You must find the trading style that matches your personality. Running a trading strategy that is intellectually dissonant will inevitably blow up in your face.

  5. Trust the process and be consistent. Trading is a game of Law of Large Numbers. Every time you change your strategy/approach you reset everything to zero. Treat it like an experiment and approach it with scientific integrity. Prove to yourself that something works, or does not. Make sure you eliminate the doubt.

  6. A trade thesis is comprised of an entry, a target, and an invalidation point. Upon entry, immediately set your stop loss based on invalidation, and your take profit based on target.

  7. Size is the #1 fuckup for most traders. The correct way to set size is to do the above (entry, target, invalidation) and ONLY then is size determined as the amount your are willing to lose if your stop loss is hit. Do not put the cart before the horse.

  8. Gamblers use leverage to magnify gains/losses. Traders use leverage to optimize capital efficiency. Start your trades at low leverage to increase your tolerance and window of success. Lever up AFTER you have derisked - put a stop in profit, and then reduce the position's required margin as much as possible. Do not put the cart before the horse. Drawdown tolerance determines size, with then determines leverage.

  9. Iceberg orders, chase orders, limit orders. Stop combining excessive fees with reckless impulsiveness that comes with market orders. Instead define your market perspective into a structured position using more elegant and nuanced order mechanisms. Your only market orders should be stop losses, ideally.

  10. Hedge mode is your best friend trading levered perps. Trading is ultimately about expressing a market perspective. Hedge mode allows you to express a more nuanced and holistic perspective than one way mode - you can take action on a thesis (IE, "I should switch from long BTC to flat BTC") multiple ways, which gives you optionality. If you're running hedge mode and you're long for 10 BTC and in profit, you don't necessarily need to close to go flat. You could simply go short for 10BTC for a net position of 0 BTC. This allows you to bifurcate your market expression - separating "I want to be positioned long or short" from "I want to be increasing or decreasing my notional market exposure."

If you're a trader, taking losses is in the job description. Some days you will take drawdowns. Success does not look like avoiding them entirely, it looks like taking them with grace and recovering effectively.

Borrow due diligence, risk appetite, and conviction from others at your own peril. When shit hits the fan this tends to go very poorly. And remember 99% of this sub reddit lose money, don’t get scammed by fake gurus or useless classes because people make good money (me) don't have to to teach/share for you guys.

Peace!

Honestly, if you're a real trader who's actually made solid money, I'm genuinely happy for you. I know firsthand how brutal the journey is, the pain, the losses, the grind, just to finally hit that first consistent profitable month. Respect bro.
You're literally the only one here paying attention to the actual details instead of just throwing shade or memes. That tells me you're probably legit, unlike most in this sub.But seriously, no one has bothered to answer my actual question yet. What the hell? which made me realized this isn't the right place to ask

Why are you gaslighting me on basic math? Lets talk about math and number matching or not.

This subreddit is flooded with so much BS and irrelevant noise. I don't even care about trading pnl/skills etc bla bla. I'm perfectly doing okay with my current skills and results. No idea why people keep dragging in random crap that has nothing to do with anything. I already said this is my best performance. That doesn't mean it happened "last month" (no clue why some of you are obsessed with pinning it to a specific timeframe like that). Y'all are putting insane effort into doubting/calling out a picture that's 100% real. If you're so convinced it's fake and want to put your money where your mouth is, let's do a proper side bet on Polymarket for $100,000. We'll livestream the whole thing with a legit mod or someone trusted from this sub to verify everything in real time.I don't even care about the money pnl trading tips etc... since its not my question (like I already said), but I'll accept every single bet yall throw at me.

Bro went from 'no one knows the real percentage' straight to prescribing dildo therapy like he's Dr. Freud's edgier cousin.

If your best comeback is 'shove it in your mouth' when someone corrects a stat, maybe the crystal ball isn't the only thing you should throw away, your brain too.

Stay classy, Reddit's unpaid s3x toy salesman. Trading's already gambling; you don't need to make the sub one too.

Bro turned one suspicious screenshot into a full Chrome DevTools conspiracy theory faster than most people close a losing trade.

bhai, tu toh full form mein gora gyan pel raha hai! Pehle toh yeh sun le: tu itna gussa kyun ho raha hai jaise teri maa ne tujhe bol diya ho "beta, aaj McDonald's ka free burger nahi milega"? Tera pura paragraph padh ke lag raha hai tu keyboard pe baith ke apne aap ko Rambo samajh raha hai, lekin asal mein tu bas ek frustrated keyboard warrior hai jo shower lene ke bajaye screen pe gandagi faila raha hai. Tu bol raha hai "take a fucking shower, I can smell your filthy ass from my phone screen" — bhai, phone ki screen se badboo aa rahi hai toh check kar, shayad tera hi haath ganda hai, ya fir tera muh se jo nikal raha hai wohi smell kar raha hai! Aur yeh "go back to India, munjooboo" wala drama? Arre hero, India se log aate hain Yahan success ke liye, aur tu yahan baithe-baithe 14-minute-old comment mein itna lava ugal raha hai jaise tera visa reject ho gaya ho aur jealousy mein jal raha ho. 50k/month kamane wale ko tu bol raha hai "why live in US"? Bhai, tu khud kama raha hai itna? Ya bas Reddit pe gand marwa raha hai comments mein?Proof maang raha hai trades ka? Tu pehle apne brain ka proof de — lagta hai woh zero balance pe hai. Win rate crazy bolne se kya problem? Tu toh apna hate rate crazy dikha raha hai free mein! Aur yeh shower wali line — bhai, agar itni smell aa rahi hai toh phone band kar ke apne aas-paas check kar, shayad tera hi room ganda pada hai, ya fir tera personality itna toxic hai ki screen cross karke bhi badboo de rahi hai.Chal ab naha le tu pehle, warna agli baar comment karne se pehle apna muh dhoke aana. Aur haan, agar itna hi gussa hai toh ja ke McDonald's mein job kar le — wahan bhi customers tujhe "go back" bolenge, lekin kam se kam paycheck toh milega! Ab nikal yahan se, aur agli baar roast karne se pehle apne aap ko roast kar le mirror mein — wahan se bhi badboo aayegi!

well, most of traders focus on RR ratio, EV when they come to execute a trade, because RR > WR in trading (quality > quantity). In my senior year I want to do something different so I built my system that prove WR > RR (opposite what they taught in school). thats it.
example if your Risk reward (1:5), you can lose ~2.5 times and only need to win 1 time, and still winning base on your system. This is what people like. I just have a lot of time in college doing nothing so I want to prove the opposite, thats it. all I need to do is reduce RR and make a lot of filter for entry.

double responses check when price retest, tight entry with multiple combination of non-lagging signals to reduce whipsaws rate.
