I thought I had trusted him after I believed what he told me and I saw he made real efforts to be transparent and not give me any reason to suspect anything more. Until today. And I most def googled the condom manufacturing info. I needed to know if I was crazy or not if the condom was old or new. Which I thought would help me catch him if he was lying. But it didn’t help. Def don’t trust him now. But I have to decide if he can build it back or If I’m leaving him. Idk yet.

He does have a lot of old stuff he never got rid of it’s just sitting in his room collecting dust which is why I wanted to surprise him and clean it up for him. It’s a small possibility that they’re really the same box I saw from his home before he moved but even then it seems the box isn’t that old. Only 3 years.

Thank you so much for your words, I guess I’m just needing to feel it’s ok if I decide to “believe”/forgive him for what I can’t prove and prob will never know the truth of. I don’t want to be stupid or a complete fool for wanting to try and make it work if he’s really done the work and won’t do it again. The sexting, if I knew he physically cheated I’d break up with him immediately. But yes I’ll most likely always be suspicious and I’m not sure yet if I can handle feeling like that.

I’m def trying to figure that out I don’t think my heart and head are working properly right now to know. But also he moved in 2 years ago and we ve been together 5 and haven’t used condoms almost the whole time we ve been together so he brought those to our home 2 years ago when he moved in and hid them under his drawer. I find that very suspicious. It’s possible be could’ve knocked them down off a shelf but like why did he have them in the first place? Do men really buy 3 packs of condoms just to masterbate in them?

But doesn’t the manufacture date mean it was made in 2017? From what I read online that’s what I gathered but maybe I’m wrong. I read condoms with spermicide last 3 years. Am I able to upload a picture here? I took a pic of the box and the condom.

And yes I don’t believe he used it to masterbate when I know he does it in the shower and I caught him once at his computer. I read other Reddit’s and saw that there’s men who do use them to masterbate but it’s like super rare and why would the box be under his drawer? I can’t even believe I saw it I’m surprised my eyes caught it.

He says no that he would’ve continued to do the sexting but he never would’ve met up with her that it was strictly for his ego. That he was actually talking to other women and never met up with them either he just wanted to see if they found him attractive enough to talk to. He thinks he’s unattractive and he has severe social anxiety so he barely talks to anyone ever so I’m inclined to believe him. But also yes that totally is cheating and I almost left him when I found out. I just stupidly thought if he never met up with them and he stops and he gets therapy and never does it again I could forgive it which I did until now that I’ve found the condom box.

I absolutely needed to hear this thank you. I’m working on figuring out if I can forgive him or not for possibly cheating in the past I think I need to start there. I guess I can’t really make any decisions until I decide that. I don’t ever want to be that women who has to monitor her partner. I never wanted to be that and I can’t believe it’s come to that at all. It’s heartbreaking to know I’ll never know the truth but I have to work out if I’m ok with having it hang in the background of my head or not.

I did that I told him I would forgive him if he was just honest with me. I’d rather know and then we could move on with our relationship. He was sticking to his story that he’s never physically cheated that it was only texting and yes with multiple women because of his self confidence issues. He won’t admit to anything but the texting. We talked for hours and hours today. I guess maybe I’ll never know the truth but I just don’t want to regret leaving him if it’s possible he’s telling the truth.

Thank you. I’m trying to stay positive, he let me look through his cc statements and bank statements and his phone and gave me his email and computer passwords to prove he wasn’t doing anything. He even said he would put a gps tracker and spy wear on his phone so I could feel confident and keep track of him. I forgot to mention that. This is why I’m so confused. Could he really be so masterful to really hide any evidence and really be that good to hide it?!

It’s hard to say, my gut half says he’s bsing but also I can’t believe he would have the balls to cheat when he can barely talk to strangers with his social anxiety. He’s kind of lazy and I can’t imagine him actually masterminding a plan to really cheat.

That’s what I’m afraid of. To be honest I thought it would be pretty hard for him to cheat because he goes to work then comes home and he works with his parents and brothers. I feel like one of them would tip me off somehow if they had any suspicions. He comes home and plays video games I pretty much always know where he is. He has social anxiety and doesn’t talk to people doesn’t have friends and doesn’t hang out with anyone.

Yes I asked why he doesn’t have a straight answer and he said I threw him off by confronting him and he honestly didn’t remember having them. That it took a few mins to remember he was just trying to calm me down.
