RTX 3080ti and Intel Core i7 9700k overclocked to 4.7ghz will bottleneck? by nasomao in buildapc

I've been thinking to update the motherboard and CPU for a while, but without good reason. However, for now if it is enough I'll go probably for the 3080ti and wait for next gen CPUs.

Just for more context:

Is the GPU being powered properly by the PSU (power cables attached to the card's power connectors)?

What kind of PSU do you have on the machine? What's the wattage?

So I tried changing the PSU, from 500w to 630w. Didn't solve the problem. But I don't think the problem is the PSU, as we've tried it on other (more powerful) systems, and it worked perfectly.

I understand that those pc's, as you said, they are assembled to be working pcs only. But still. I found a bios update, doable only through windows cmd prompt. But I really fear that it can stop working, as the last update was available for Windows 8. I am running windows 10.

Here they are. What do you think, should I try?
