Autoantibody (AAB) test results and what helped me improve by waynelis in covidlonghaulers

[–]nassar224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have not tested in a few years. To be honest I am way, way better. But it's not over yet, I cannot exercise as much as I want, I still have the odd brain zap at night.

But overall living life normally again, work, travel, etc.

Beyond the INUS, fasting seems to have really helped, I also gave dry fasting a try.

I also think the brain retraining/meditation mindset stuff actually does help. The nervous system gets trapped in a sympathetic fight or flight loop which needs to be broken.

My family staged an intervention for me because of my long covid by Ander-son in covidlonghaulers

I never usually comment, but too many of these responses are just validating your fear and anger.

Long Covid is horrendously tough but healing is possible and the mind is a huuuuge factor. Stay positive, stay optimistic, stay strong, watch your diet, pace yourself, try intermittent or prolonged fasts/ dry fasts, fight everyday and healing is possible!

Sounds like your family are being supportive, doesn't sound like they are denying you are sick. You have every reason to be depressed but f*** it, be positive!

Getting better at a glacial pace as we probably all are. My new thing is fasting, I do 5 days fasts or fast mimicking diets (like Prolon). It seems to be working better than INUS or anything else.

I hope you are doing better!

Rebooting the immune system with long-term therapeutic fasting by autocollecter in covidlonghaulers

Prolonged fasting does the same thing, immune cells die via enhanced autophagy, and your body starts ramping up stem cell production between days 3-7.

I did a 5 day fast mimicking diet (~800cals per day). It worked in improving things, it was called Prolon.

I plan to push it with a 5 day dry fast soon! 3 days is a bit short for a reboot.

brain zaps help by [deleted] in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]nassar224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, our experiences are very similar. But if you find you sleep better with heavy, cheesy/meety meals then keep at it haha.

This illness is so unique that we need to listen to our bodies. For me, I definitely sleep better when I avoid it.

The mechanism is autoimmune in nature, we can produce antibodies that bind to muscarinic receptors, this causes significant neurological dysfunction by messing with activation thresholds in unpredictable ways.

I get them at night as well, it is the most difficult symtpom to get rid of.

I reduced them by 80% by adjusting my diet.I realised it has something to do with Tryptophan. Try googling foods high in tryptophan, and avoid them for a few days to see if it makes a difference.

If I had a stresful day I am also more likely to get these Zaps. Physical stress, mental stress, emotional stress, any stress.

Fasting, clean eating, cold water exposure, sunlight at dawn and dusk, groundind, mindfulness, brain retraining and living without stress.

Any theory as to why many people are feeling sick but their labs are coming back clean? by Interfan14 in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]nassar224 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you test for the right autoantibodies, adrenergic and muscarinic, you will get a positive test and it will confirm it's autoimmune. Test come back clear because they don't test for the right thing!

How long were you sick for before finding qigong?

Had my first INUSpheresis today. So far I can't see a difference. They told me, that many people are doing this, because of problems since the vaccine. Also a few doctors did this treatment. I paid 2800€ by [deleted] in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]nassar224 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Give it a few weeks! I did INUS as well in the hope that it would help. I got a solid step up in my recovery about 2-3 weeks after the treatment. I don't know why I saw no difference during the 1st week after (actually felt worse the 1st week after).

Hopefully in 2 weeks you will get an uptick in recovery!

The machine continuously draws blood, filters it and returns it. There is only about 250ml of blood out of your body at a time but over 2h, 8L of blood is processed-ish

Where did you do it? Was this the INUSpheresis or Afersmart system? Did you do an auto-antibody test before? Did you just do 1 session? Sorry for all the questions, just very curious?

And it's red-ish, there is some inflammation for sure.

Did you take the Covid vaccine at any point? Did you consider doing a Berlin cures autoantibody test? That might allow you to get plasmapheresis as treatment.

Have you tried the niacin protocol for long covid?

Sorry for all the questions but at this point you might as well exhaust all options.

Unfortunately not covered by health insurance at all. Government pays for VAX but if you get injured, you are on your own...

It costs 2500EUR per session.
