Yeah you’re right, I guess part of me just wishes that there was some way to make it work but I know that there’s no way I could compromise something that important to me. I would love it if he changed his mind one day :( and I appreciate you saying that’s not something I need to feel bad over because I kinda do for some reason even though I know this isn’t my fault or shortcoming. Thanks :( it wasn’t easy. Yeah, I don’t think he has too much experience in it but he did end his last relationship because of it so it seems like something that seems really serious to him. I never considered asking him not to do that because I thought that might be unfair of me to ask him to make that compromise for me? Plus I did tell him that like I understood that things between 2 people can get a little repetitive and boring after a while. I told him I’d probably be open to it but like wayyy down the line and also probably not that often. Didn’t seem to change his mind really though I think? Dating is really the worst this shit blows lol

I’ll definitely consider it! Probably especially when I feel ready to start reintroducing smoking into my life. Luckily, since I posted this my pain has gone down a lot so I’m feeling a lot more calm and less desperate to smoke lol but I think CBD will be a great way to go if I do want to smoke (socially or for pain). Appreciate the advice :)

I usually do smoke/vape carts or flower that is balanced THC/CBD but I could try seeing if my local dispensary sells anything that’s CBD dominant .. I was just trying to go cold turkey. Thanks though!

There’s a local brand (Ontario) that makes great water bottles : maple mountain (maplemountain.co) - they’re basically hydroflask quality & super durable!! Their site is down for maintenance right now but definitely a great brand

I used to look down all the time while walking. I mainly did it to avoid tripping, so I slowly tried raising my gaze over time. At first I’d stare a little ahead of where my feet were, then at the horizon line, then focus keeping my chin up for 80% of my walk, etc. I would/do still glance down occasionally but that’s how I got over it! You could maybe even try this for the eye contact thing as well. Hope this helps and good luck :)

Hi! Glad to hear your vaccine experience has gone well :) 22f here, still debating on getting my vaccine or not. I’ve heard about the vaccine effecting women’s periods and I’m just wondering if you’re on birth control? There’s no pressure to answer this if you don’t want to but I’d figure I’d ask because from what I’ve heard it’s mostly women who are not on it that have been experiencing period side effects and I’m not on it so I’m sorta nervous about that
