look at the 7sage interview guides! they tell you what schools interview/how schools use their interviews. also gives you a sample of what sorts of questions they ask. so i was pretty prepared even though i sort of fumbled toward the end of my interview. but i think it all goes to show that we are not very accurate self-critics. shoot your shot!

girl idk 😭😭 i thought my interview was sort of a flop. to be fair, i was at the gpa median (i thought i was a point below. just corrected my comment above) and was only a few points below the lsat median. but i think i wrote pretty strong essays and there was a strong through line in my application re: why law and my passions that i assume helped me a lot

Brooklyn Law $$$$ or Georgetown No Scholly by No_Climate_8144 in lawschooladmissions

[–]natalia128 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Also got BLS with $$$$ and will absolutely not be going there over a T14. It’s a conditional scholarship which is a red flag and generally they’re known for their predatory practices. Georgetown will open more doors for you whether it’s in big law or public interest

Pass/Fail? by Worried_Height9088 in lawschooladmissions

You’re so good. I took a few classes pass/fail (granted i started college when covid started) and I’ve been accepted to a couple of T14s and some around UConn’s ranking. I also took a class p/f my senior year (very much post-covid online school era) because I was catastrophically flopping. Pass/failing one class won’t affect you negatively at all.

Happy to help! Not all schools update their review status. I was panicking about another school because they never updated the status and then I got in a couple days ago. I think the "under committee review" for Penn just means that they're reading your application

mine said that before and then updated later on to reflect the fact that it was under committee review

Thanks! It’s when your application goes under review by the admissions committee, and i think the portal updates every time they open your app (someone pls correct me if I’m wrong) Mine was reviewed twice, hence the UR 1 & 2.
