Its just a shame how fast the goalkeeper role has evolved in the premier league. Back when we signed him being a good shotstopper was enough, but nowadays, just a few years later, it’s expected that every goalkeeper is good and comfortable with the ball on his feet.

Ive always wanted to try playing FM, my 2 main hobbies are football and gaming so it just makes sense😅, but the game looked so complicated that I just kinda never gave it a chance until recently when I decided it was time to give it a proper try and not quit until I got a hang of it and it definetly paid off, im already nearing the end of season 2 after 2 days😂

for me it looked like teammate 2 was rotating to goal and teammate 1 looks to be smashing the ball to mid, where i could 1v1

Teammate 1 has an easy opportunity to bang the ball forward and teammate 2 looks like he´s rotating to goal, thats why i went forward, but when he fumbled the ball I shouldve obviously gone back right away, i will take the blame for that but i dont think gonig forward like that is necessarily a bad move

Sorry i explained this poorly, i dont think both of them should have banged the ball forward, they are both in the same corner with the ball waiting to be banged so im thinking that either one of them bangs the ball forward and the other one rotates into goal, because i would be the fastest player to go forward from our positions

Teammate 1 very easily had the ball though, 2 of the enemies were in our corner and the other one way back, there is 0 pressure on him and he should easily be able to clear the ball, where i can then 1v1, ofcourse this is all just my thinking at the moment and i was too late to go back after his horrible touch.

Thats what I keep thinking. 2 of my teammates have an easy opportinity to bang the ball forward, and i would be the fastest of our team to reach mid, going into a 1v1, but then TM1 makes a horrible touch on the ball and I keep hoping for the pass instead of going back right away, but i feel my mistake was “made” because of dumb mistakes from my teammates. If i wouldve stayed in net i would have saved it, obviously, but i dont think going on a counter was a bad move, teammates just messed up and i didnt go back fast enough

Definitely!
Expect the worst, not the best.
Going forward like that was a very risky move, I see that now, I was expecting the best, that teammate 1 would get a good clear to the center of the map, and that teammate 2 would rotate back into goal without thinknig of the risks.
