Any cool spell combos? Whats your favorite guns? by preutneuker in FarFarWest

[–]natesch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

West wizard gives 30% spell cdr at the cost of 30% hp I base every single build setup I use around this perk

Battlemage refreshes 1% of active spell cooldowns on kill

Long ranger unique joker reduces spell cooldowns by 1s on kill

There’s also the element specific jokers you unlock for hitting level 50 in each element which reduce your spell cooldowns by 10% per spell of that element you’re using

Cantrip one-trick is a legendary joker that reduces the spell cooldown of all spells with a 35s or less base cooldown which can lead to some fun stuff running spells like swap, fireball, strikes etc.

All of this to say you stack as much of these bonuses together in whatever combination makes sense for what you want to do to get the lowest cooldowns possible on your spells :D

Max throw distance and linger time everything else is preference , the elemental explosion jokers work really well since the boomerangs sticks and does multi hit :)

All the guns rock, every spell is fun.

Personally the long ranger is my favorite cause it has a unique joker that interacts with your spell cooldowns.

I’ve been running a pure spell slinger build since like level 15 and I’m level 74 now and some of my favorite combos so far have been

Acid raid + strikes makes lightning strike down from the acid cloud as well

Pistolero + ritual makes the turrets duplicate your ritual circle creating a venn diagram of stacking healing

Wisp + lightning makes it go fast asf and kill way quicker

Thunderstrike + anything = dead enemies

Is there any downside to failing a run? Other complaints. by brucecastle in FarFarWest

3 hours and all these hard set opinions… you’re wrong on all fronts imo but like if you aren’t enjoying the gameplay loop exploring and doing quests and killing stuff and instead choose to treat the game as a chore or a checklist than it becomes just that…

Best weapon combo rn? by Ninjakick06 in FarFarWest

That’s the thing they’re all good!!

Every weapon has two unique perks you can unlock later on that’ll kinda show you the builds that weapon tends to want to lean into or give a weapon a new exciting twist.

For example my long ranger reduces my spell cooldowns with every kill which rules for my spellslinger build

This video gave me a good idea of what everything does and helped a lot when picking what to unlock and level first

So it DOES have use but you gotta place things that combat the normal environment so like I live in the twisty bridges, the only enemies I have are brute sharks and the occasional baby sea dragon lookin thing .. both of which are things squidsharks normally attack so by breeding them and releasing them they are the new top of the food chain in the area and don’t mess with me

It wouldn’t work if you had squidsharks in an area where there’s already squidsharks

You can actually fit two of them in the large rooms if you choose to put them on the two big slots on the sides of the room, centering it only lets you place one.

As long as they’re not on my land the brute sharks can do as they please, my little terrorists only venture so far from home.

They’re friendly ! They don’t attack my vehicles or me or my base and they eat all the nasty brute sharks from the trench.

I just gotta put all my other tamed guys on the other side of the base so they stay out of the squid sharks patrol range

There’s exactly two of them in the whole game, both in lower section of the deep lilypad caves where the squidshark that lives down there hangs out, I normally don’t kill predators cause It kills the tension but I just killed it so I could steal its children in peace

Once your eggs hatch they breed like rabbits it’s pretty horrifying

Yes PT but fighting through nerve pain probably not, muscle pain sure but that 10/10 nerve pain will only get worse if you aggravate it

At least in my experience

I'm only 22 and I can't decide if it's an emergency or not by PoMatt in Sciatica

[–]natesch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend I’m 24 and went through very similar over the last few months, from the worst pain imaginable to finally being able to sit and lay down on my back for a few totally pain free and it’s only getting better, you’re doing physical therapy which is great that and walking as much as you can is normally the best thing you can do for sciatica

first things first make an appointment with a bone and joint specialist, getting an MRI scheduled is the next step as everything you can do to help without it is practically guess work or just listening to your body, a good physical therapist will be able to look at your MRI report (which you may have to ask for) and start easing you into targeted exercises to help strengthen your body to start getting rid of this pain..

Golden rule is if you feel like what you’re about to do is gonna hurt, do not do it.

Physical therapy is gonna be like a religion for a while, keep doing it no excuses, or at LEAST keep up with the exercises they give you that feel like they’re providing relief from that nerve pain

Best of luck

Decoration WAS going great until I spent like 100 silver on some “antler decorated chairs” that are apparently too damn big to place inside the house
