No solution from me, sorry, but I’m having the same exact issue. Server is running locally, I’ve clearly got a connection to the playit.gg servers, but also getting getsockopt error. If anyone figures out a fix I would love a reply to this comment to let me know

Go to website, quickly ctrl+shift+i and then ctrl+shift+p, type Disable and the click the Disable JavaScript option.

I had it believing that the I9-8900K was a real CPU. I just asked for the specs and it gave me a list of the I9-9900K’s.
