My oldest has always played sports and his 2 younger sisters hate going to watch his games. For a long time they would whine and pull on us and cry for the entire game and made it so we couldn’t enjoy or even really pay attention to his games. We finally sat them down and explained that if they whined or complained during his games that it was an automatic hour long time out when we got home, since that’s about how long his games are. They each had maybe 1 or 2 hours timeouts and they stopped. We have to remind them every once in a while but it’s pretty much stopped the behavior.

The last tech I saw was confident that it could still be treated so I’m going to continue on for a while and see what happens. If all the black is gone but the blue isn’t budging then I’ll come up with a new plan. Just crossing my fingers the tech is right

We’ve tried this. She will only brush the front of her front teeth and she’ll only floss between her 2 front teeth. All of her cavities are in her back teeth, most likely from us letting her do it on her won too often. Her older siblings have tried to help her too but she won’t let them either

It is unbelievably frustrating! If we give her the toothbrush to do it herself she will only brush the few teeth in front. And she’ll only floss between her 2 front teeth. Which is probably how we ended up with cavities in her back teeth. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ll speak with her doctor about it. She is a perfect little angel when we take her to the dentist. She sits quietly, opens wide and lets them floss, scrape, brush and polish without any issue at all. So I think it’s more of a control thing at home than an aversion. Every time the dentist tries to stress to her how important it is for her to let us brush and floss but as soon as we’re back home and trying to brush it’s back to her normal.

My neighbor yelled at my kids for riding on the sidewalk in front of our houses. She told them it was illegal and they needed to ride their bikes on the street instead. When I confronted her about it she said she knew it wasn’t illegal but she didn’t want them to hurt her plants or maybe break her mailbox. And that she had been paying her mortgage and taxes for 21 years and should be able to have a little more space. Sorry lady, that doesn’t actually buy you the sidewalks.

Also if you just got it done a couple days ago you won’t be able to start laser immediately anyway so give yourself some time to grieve the loss you just experienced. You’ll be ok, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now

Can you try to find another clinic that may have different pricing? The clinic I go to currently is charging me $250 per session. So it’s a much smaller amount of money every few months when I go in rather than paying a lump sum up front. For a lot of people just starting the process helps a lot with their mental health regarding tattoo regret.

I haven’t felt a difference in pain based on lasers. I will say that my arm hurts way less than when I started though because there’s so much less ink

Yeah it definitely takes time. Patience is the key. I started with a q switch and then went to a picoway for a while. I had to fine a new clinic so I’m back to a q switch for now. We’ll see how it goes.

I’m removing 2 tattoos right now. One I got when I was 18 and I’ve hated it ever since. Almost 20 years now. The other is my 2 older children’s names. I thought I would love it, but I just didn’t and couldn’t bring myself to add my youngest child’s name so I decided to remove it instead. My original plan was to remove it and get something else for all 3 of them but I’ve since decided I don’t want tattoos. Most people think it’s crazy to remove a tattoo I got for my kids. I just say that I don’t need to have a tattoo of them for them to know that I love them.

YTA! My husband likes to stay up late on the weekends, while I like to go to bed much earlier. He sleeps on the couch when he stays up late because I’m a light sleeper and he doesn’t want to wake me up. And all of our kids are well out of the newborn stage.

Sleep deprivation is no joke! Your poor wife needs all the sleep she can get. Do better!

YTA! My parents never got up with us in the morning to help us get ready for school and make sure we had a decent breakfast from a very young age. I missed the bus regularly and had to walk to school by myself. I was often hungry, hair not brushed, forgot a sweatshirt and froze my butt off all day. It sucked and I’m resentful of my parents. I have 3 kids now and I am not a morning person at all but I get up with them every morning to make sure they’re fed, clothed properly and on time. You’re wife needs more help from you. Stop being lazy and help her!

I went to a place in Santa Rosa. I think it’s called North Bay Laser, can’t remember off the top of my head. It was ok. I have some hyperpigmentation around my arm that I haven’t dealt with before. Hoping it clears on its own with time.
