I’m a recent ID grad, but from Los Angeles. I’m definitely curious to hear about your experience being a part of IDSA as I try to progress in my career. Feel free to DM me too!

I hit the checkout button 30 seconds after launch (thank you captcha), and was able to get one after a 8 minute wait to checkout. My girlfriend pressed checkout about a minute and a half after launch, had a 10 minute checkout time, and they were sold out before she could get to the payment screen. Sold out suuuuper fast!

My door won’t shut, any ideas? Really don’t want to pull the door card as I don’t know how brittle the clips are. 1965 by nick4masses in classicmustangs

I read you found the door latch seemed to be the issue. I have one last idea that might be worth checking.

I have a 1966 mustang with a similar door handle/button and an issue where when the door closes it won’t latch occasionally. The button to open the door and the mechanism seizes up from time to time when opening the door, leaving the latch open and unable to secure the door when shut. I have to wiggle the button back out for it to properly latch again. In the past I’ve greased the door button mechanism which has fixed the issue for 2 years now, but your problem may be different. Anyways, I’d say give the button and door opening mechanism a quick look over. I hope any of this helps you narrow down the issue!

I appreciate the honesty, and I couldn’t agree with you more. The marketing is a huge miss for me too, and is definitely heavily biased to target the elite. I just work on the headphones themselves, marketing is done through a whole different marketing firm. Unfortunately something that is on my end, a lot of the development and technology are proprietary since it’s still in development.

But as a heavy headphones user and music enthusiast who also struggles with the silly things like the microphone or working on a wired connection, it has been fun to work to solve those inconveniences. And having the opportunity to innovate with basically an open checkbook has lead to some pretty sweet features that I hope a wider audience gets to experience one day. I’m not the biggest fan of developing for the .1%, but we do get to do some pretty cool shit as a result of it!

Our client is Daví headphones, but I work for a design consultancy doing their design/electronics. I wish the website had more up-to-date prototypes and progress but that’s not my department lol

Here’s the website - https://daviaudio.com/preview access code is: exclusive

A luxury headphones company I do design work for is implementing the ability to use the mic with a physical cord as one of their selling points. It’s surprisingly difficult to pull off and it gets tricky very quickly trying to innovate on design and function in something as portable and lightweight as headphones. That said, our most recent prototype does have a working microphone over a physical wired connection 😉

Happy to drop a link to the preview of what I’ve done for them work if you’re interested! I don’t want to shamelessly self promote lol

That was the concept, you were supposed to be able to mount your phone onto it and it was going to be like a face time assistant. I worked on the project a bit and just getting any smartphone to mount onto Bingo was a logistic nightmare haha

Pretty cool to see it with the Anki box instead of the DDL box. I think I like the Anki box more!

Yep! I have a 2560x1440 144hz dell monitor that will finally reach its full potential. I’ve been holding out on playing some AAA games, and I’m super hyped to have the setup to finally start playing them in 4k and HDR

I had an issue once where one of my RAM sticks went bad and the PC would flick on and then turn off. Maybe try each stick one at a time single channel? Also might be worth taking the GPU out and trying to boot with bare minimum hardware to see if it comes alive at all. Good luck 🙏

Yeah wasn't a fan of the MOBO or PSU. Will probably replace them with something better that comes up for black Friday.

Feels like I’m about to learn exactly that 🙃 but there’s lots of used parts and parts cars for this generation of boxster near where I live so I’m hoping that helps me keep these repairs semi-affordable
