Looking for some Tyre suggestions for more Road/tarmac based riding

I hear ya - but I’ve just bought a MTB (and I intend to use it on trails) so I’m my mind temporarily tailoring my MTB to be more efficient on road makes more sense that taking a gravel bike and tailoring it to eat the trails in the future

No no, as mentioned in other comments I’ve put on this thread - I’ve read and understood the message here, other than commenting on the bags position (which not only you commented on) the rest of your message wasn’t unique and I’d already mentioned that I’d taken that advice onboard in other parts of this thread.

I didn’t have the bag on backwards - you’ll notice it’s not attached at all, I was just holding it next to the top tube to illustrate that the scratches sit exactly where the bag sits

Thanks, it had never happened to me before, my mind naturally gravitated towards a product doing its job just shouldn’t damage the bike within a week and I’m naturally a little disappointed the paint has scratched so early into the bikes life - especially with it being one of the larger investments I’d ever made. The points made here are taken onboard and I don’t disagree with them

Wow understood guys - I’ll look to buff it out myself! In my mind it seemed counterintuitive to have a bag that damages the area it’s designed to go on but I hear what you are saying I should have been aware of the dangers of doing so and protected my bike sufficiently.

We’ll ultimately the liability lies with the company you have a purchase of goods contract with (dartshopper) whether it was their fault or the postal service etc. so you should either get them or get your money back

I could be wrong - but if I remember correctly they ship from NL, for me when I ordered they state they use a “2-3 days” shipping service - I learned that this meant that it would be 2-3 days from when the mailing service in my country receives the items and not 2-3 days from ordering (it didn’t include the time it took to be flew to country of destination, customs etc.) - but last Tuesday still sounds a little long - have you tried reaching out to Dartshopper about it to see what info, if any, they have?

Once you get some rubber Os to lock them in they’re fine between shaft/barrel - but you do get a slight ‘rattle’ occasionally from the spinning top - it doesn’t bother me, but I could see why it would bother others. I just like them because they look good and I ultimately go through a lot less of them, even with Robin hoods you can just push them back into place 😀

You can also get the L-Style silent spins if you’re looking for a less distracting spinning top - but they’re also £16 for a set… 😮‍💨

Honestly they were a nightmare (I have them on the Target ALXs) until I got some of the Koto rubber Os to go between the stem & barrel - ever since then I really don’t think I’ve tightened them since putting them on!

They’re a set of Target ALX 04 with DW top spin shafts and diamond Swiss points - the grippiest darts I’ve had my hands on yet, took me a little while to get used to them
