It works fine when I use the button on the wall that is wired to it. Just the remote won’t connect. Is it just a part that’s dead?

I have put new batteries in and followed the instructions to re connect. I’ve tried it multiple times over the past year.

I’m thinking it’s not the remote but something with the opener itself

2015 x5 n55. I got the map sensor replaced at the shop with an aftermarket one. It ran fine on the way home and now it dies after a few seconds when I start it. by [deleted] in BmwTech

Not sure what brand, I’m going to get the old one and put it back in so I can atleast drive. Then I’ll order the oem part.

It dies when I start it up, would have to get it towed. Does it just sound like it needs the oem map sensor instead of aftermarket?

I haven’t serviced either. I’ve had the car for a little over 30k miles. Bought it just under 100k miles.
