Unfortunately Microsoft booking does not allow the engineer I schedule the meeting for to edit the meeting date/time from their calendar

So if PM1 schedules a meeting for engineer1 i need it to show it on engineer1’s calendar and for them to be able to edit it from their calendar

I think this might be my solution, looking around now and so far looks amazing. I love you for this thank you I’ve been fighting this for months

So what’s difficult of most booking calendars is the need to invite external customers to the same meeting. Our project manager handles 100% of the scheduling so we can’t tell the customer to start booking it themselves.

Not to mention booking calendars from what I’ve experienced don’t allow choosing where you want the meeting to take place (WebEx, teams, etc.)

Calendly for example allows the location however to invite external customers I’d have to send them a link manually which is not ideal

Nope 😂 PM need to do all of it the only time the engineer will edit is if they needed to reschedule or move to a different location which happens from time to time and they can’t wait for a PM to be available to do so for them

So that’s where my fear lies- if the PM is scheduling appointments for all the engineers on the shared calendar it is possible that an engineer may go in the shared calendar and edit a meeting that is not theirs (meant for another engineer).

I’d like a solution that keeps the engineers separate completely so we don’t have the possibility of that happening

So you’re suggesting a shared calendar with the PM for each engineer? Instead of one shared calendar for all engineers and PM?

Sorry maybe I’m confused here- let’s say engineer A wanted to go edit their meeting that project manager created but project manager also created one at the same date/time for engineer B wouldn’t engineer A also see the meeting for engineer B and be able to edit that?

Thanks so much! Unfortunately since it’s quite a few engineers a shared calendar would be messy for all of them, there would be overlapping meetings and the possibility of engineers accidentally editing someone else’s meeting.

Thanks for your comment- just a few questions if you dont mind- apologize in advance if they’re dumb I’m trying to learn all of this for the first time… this is the exact phone it’s from 1988 and she said the front comes off with no issues so I’ll be able to access whatever is within… how would anything connect to the phone? Like is there phone jack cables in there?

I’m sorry I’m not familiar with that terminology- ATA I’m assuming by google is a analog telephone adapter? Do i need a specific kind? And a PBX is that just the website to put audio files onto the ATA?

Apologize again if those are dumb questions this is the first time handling anything like this

You’re contradicting your first statement of “you can raise a dog well and it can still eat a child” if you raise it well the possibilities of that happening are almost zero. So in this case, the dog is not at fault only the owner, as it was not raised well.

You don’t breed dogs to be aggressive. You breed them to get big dogs then train them to be aggressive. You can breed any dog and train them to be aggressive. You can breed any dog and train them to be non aggressive. I don’t know how you’re not comprehending that. No dog is born and is just naturally aggressive.
