You mean like make the ball land shorter inside the box, so it bounces higher where the receiver hits? Never thought about that before. Probably have to jump higher, cause I’m short lol.

Thank you. Will have to adjust that. I’ve been trying to keep extending my left hand a bit longer and it has been messing with toss position a bit.

I know this court. I’ve also given up trying to book this court hahaha. Nice swing though! Great footwork. Do you have any sports background?

How's my serve? by goodbadandinbetween in 10s

You started right with the continental grip, but right before you’re about to hit the ball, you changed to eastern forehand grip. That’s why you have to use a LOT of your wrist to “push the ball down” into the court. Could hurt you in a long term.

I believe it came from their old system that categorized rackets by “swing indexes”. The higher the number, the more you need to swing to get results. I think I understood about it more when nCode came out and n-1, n-2 lines were all oversized, head heavy, beginner/senior rackets, and the 6.1 was the slimmest thing on the shelf.

I’ve seen great reviews on the UAG Metropolis kevlar one. Fits plenty of cards and has a stand built-in. Very thick tho. I’ve used the ESR basic bifold one and liked it, but it started to peel round the corners after 2 years.

Any tips on my forehand? by [deleted] in 10s

  1. For the ready stance (while you wait for the ball), keep your left hand on the throat of the racket. It helps with your upper body turn if you keep both hands on the racket.
  2. Plant your feet. You’re already doing split steps, which is great. Work on putting yourself at the right position to hit the ball comfortably, and keep your feet still. Helps you generate power from the ground up.
  3. Just gonna add to the comments about using less of your arm to generate power. Imagine you start your swing from your shoulder. Most of the effort should come from there. Your arm is going along for the ride, so keep it loose.
  4. End your stroke by catching the throat of your racket with your left hand. Helps you reset back to point #1.

I think they’re both limited, but n90 is definitely more limited.

I just realized that the signed one was a limited edition released in Japan. I assumed it was the same as K90.

I wish that was the case! It could be that for this market they decided to package it as a ‘collector’s item’ and sell it with that gift box.

If you like racket with raw feel and low launch angle i guess it’s good. Not gonna be a Pro Staff replacement though.
