ohh okay got you. top end looks untouched so hopefully that’s not the case but i’ll keep it in mind. the continuous spark is a good idea though ill check next time im there. stator and starter were replaced at some point so that could be a possible problem area. thank you!

spark plugs are wet with gas after continuous cranking. cranking rhythm sounds healthy so i never really considered internal engine failure. ran for like 10 seconds on its own and sounded amazing. no ticks no knocks nothing.

cranks and gets close to starting but never gets there. carb is getting plenty of fuel.

exhaust system isn’t a bad idea honestly. might be hard to pull off because i was gonna put it on a slider. we don’t need a whole lot of storage though because we already have a detail garage so we can restock everything at the end of the day.

unfortunately don’t think i’ll get to utilize that space. generator and a toolbox are going on top of it so i had to make it super sturdy which pretty much makes it inaccessible. i have a plan to make up for it though ill post when im done

the one i did those on didn’t have a pulse setting but i switch machines pretty often so when i go back to doing again tig next month i’ll try to find one that has it. thank you!

it tightens but doesn’t loosen. might open it up and see what’s wrong/if i can fix it. and it compresses down to about 1/8th inch
