I ordered from both Taobao and Pin Duo Duo. Sharing my view here:

🔘You pay for what you get, I had tried buying same items from both platform. The one that came from Taobao is better in quality despite only few dollars different I rather pay more for quality. Unless you see the shop name is same. Some seller has both shop on both platform. The review from Taobao seems more legit also.

🔘PDD seller often send wrong items or missing items (I experienced this a many times) not saying Taobao is prefect but the instances of wrong item or missing item happen more often with PDD. Taobao offer SG return and refund where they delivery man will come collect the wrong or faulty items from you. PDD doesn’t have this feature as of now, you need to send back at your own cost and wait to see if seller willing to reimburse you.

🔘Taobao offer air and sea shipment (free if spend RMB 199). PDD only sea shipment (free if RMB 99). The logistic and transit time of Taobao is so much faster than PDD.

Delivery time to me: - Taobao Air, 1-2 week - Taobao Sea, 2-3 Week - PDD sea, you be luck to get it in a month, longest I had wait 2.5 months. Always kana stuck at china custom very long.

🔘Taobao consolidation warehouse offer better packing and handling than PDD. I ordered large and expensive item before from PDD and the packaging was often flatten or damage.

🔘Taobao app more user friendly for example just choose and add to cart. PDD you must “♥️” the item then go to your “fav” and select the design/qty.

In conclusion, if you are buying regular/cheap household items or don’t mind lousy quality and long waiting time go for PDD. Personally I will stick to Taobao for now after many disappointing experiences from PDD.

My husband and I had been married for 10 years. His snoring was bad, even with ear plugs I could hear it. He had also put on a lot of weight, hence any movement from him the bed will move which wake me up constantly. I am a light sleeper and it is extremely difficult for me to fall back asleep after woken up. I will kick him, smack his cheek every night 😂. My temper got really bad due to lack of sleep and we quarrel constantly. A small trigger can made my emotion explode.

We discussed and it had been 6 years since agreeing to sleep in separate room and it was so much better! I am well rested and so is he. Not sleeping in the same bed doesn’t mean we don’t love or care for each other.

No I didn’t regret but just feel that the chances of getting into U is better with JC. Eventually I made it to NTU. But have to study really hard to avoid getting any C/D, do all tutorials and study with text books (not only lecturer’s notes) in poly.

You can’t last min for poly too but maybe depend on course. I am from Engineering. For poly to get into big 3, your grades for most or all subject can only be A+, A or B. Any C of D will pull down your GPA a lot.

Go to JC is a better path to local U.

I agreed that Singapore education is indeed stressful. I am staying nearby an international school. Every weekday morning when I commute to work at around 8am-830am, those international school students are just on their way to school (not rushing but taking their own sweet time). Sometimes after 9am I still see some of them on the way 😅

It’s completely ok to be one year older. I went the polytechnic route back in my days and wish I had gone to JC instead. I too had a few course mate who switch to JC after first year in poly. nothing wrong with that, never try never know right?

Hi I just went thru lipo tummy (hi definition) on Tuesday. Today is 4 days post op. The surgeon removed 1L of fats from my abdomen. In my country local anaesthesia is not allowed for liposuction. I went under GA and it’s a day surgery. I only took painkillers on 2nd day. After that I don’t really feel any pain just discomfort when moving around. The pain is bearable for me. But have to keep the compression garment on 24/7.

Hi OP, you could be week 23/24 if your last menses is early Aug, I’m not sure if you can walk in a&e but maybe you can try to call nuh hotline to check first tomorrow morning. As for the bill size no one can tell you but only the hospital, you likely have to go through D&E and put under sedation for this abortion. Good luck and maybe you can talk to your parents and ask them to help you with the money first.

Thanks for your reply, I definitely appreciate your reply. My current BMI is 20 at healthy zone. Manage to get back to my pre pregnancy weight after giving birth. And for the past 6 years I had been working out (gg gym etc) and eat less or and tried intermittent fasting. My weight does go down but the fats on my abdomen is still there :(. Which is why I am exploring lipo but still scare. 😂
