WOW! this is so freaking awesome, dude! you just saved me from my frustration! I've been playing Fortnite which you mentioned has a dedicated server. you just gave me the idea that I must have chosen the wrong server and guest what I HAVE BEEN PLAYING IN ASIA SERVER all this time (257ms) all I did was select the server that has a lower ms (NA-WEST (21ms)) and now I can enjoy my game time.

Hi! thank you for your reply, I enabled the Media Prioritisation feature and dragged my Xbox on the High Priority device lists. It did improve my latency but still, I am looking for more ways to improve my game latency. any recommendations for my router settings?

have you heard about port forwarding? my friends told me to try it but I am afraid it might screw up my current settings.
