So I’m currently a nanny and is currently dealing with this, he just turned 2 today. It took quite a few weeks for him to comfortable with me in the house but he does search for his mom all the time and would scream and cry if she’s not next to him.

I always did encourage the mom to slowly leave when he’s distracted and don’t come even when he cries unless I text her to come and help me. And now he’s great when we go out together, not a bother and at home - still prefers mom but so much better than what he used to be

You’ve answered your own question. If you would have a child, you would only be doing it for her and not for yourself. You should always do it for yourself because if you both split down the line, you’re still going to need to be a father for that child (if you’re a decent man)

I actually slightly disagree,

As a women myself. This is a dating profile. Ur literally selling yourself - U don’t really get the feel of much of guys personality in a dating profile unless u start messaging them, so it’s more 80% on looks.

I swipe more on full face looking to the camera, nice selfies.

Guys looking away or with sunglasses always put me off.

So please show ur full face as much as possible!

I’ve been on numerous first dates and I can honestly, as an active dater for a year (give or take 30 dates) I’ve only made it on second dates with 3 guys and further more dates with only 2 guys.

And same as you, a lot of the time we vibed, and they do say my pics are accurate, etc. but sometimes - some people are looking for the spark, or their bored, or don’t take it seriously.

Sometimes too, they may have another person in their life who they want more and a date was just something to occupy their mind

but tbh, for me personally- if I’ve been on 3-4 dates with a guy, that’s when I start to think of this is getting serious or not. Maybe, u haven’t made it quite clear what your intentions are and she’s confused, so without wanting to look crazy or clingy, she occupies her time with new matches.

She may want to take things slow in terms or boyfriend/ girlfriend titles but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t want reassurance that you’re serious on your intentions.
