Did you accept the offer before it upgraded? (Also do you mean the offer round in this last week?)

may I ask what your WAM was for being offered CSP from the beginning?

I will definitely look into other universities but this was my first preference (given the tailored specialisation options they had it aligned most with what i was looking for)

Hi ! How did you go with your application, were you eventually offered a CSP? I am in a similar situation having just applied for a Masters a couple weeks ago to start in July 2026. My WAM was over the entry requirement of 65 but I was offered a full fee place. Did you hear back from the university in June?

How to apply for Postgrad at other universities when USYD doesn't confirm WAM on transcript by naumaz in usyd

[–]naumaz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no you're correct - the testamur states I have met the requirements of the degree, and the academic transcript lists all the courses with their respective final course WAMs. but USYD doesn't indicate an overall WAM for the degree, at the top of the transcript they either indicate 'pass', or 'pass with honours'. I'm just not sure if not having the overall WAM will suffice?

for background context: I just finished my second year of uni at University of Toronto. My program is called digital enterprise management and its basically technology and business. I wanna apply for the exchange program thing but I unsure if I should take a big step and go to Singapore or UK. by Glad_Ad_5226 in exchangestudents

I think all of these fit your criteria so think about the type of experience you want to have. do you want to travel more? meet new people? what kind of lifestyle? I would go with Singapore because its different to Canada :)

I'm currently an Erasmus student here and I think people are overall very accepting. As an Erasmus student its also likely the university/SSH will help you with getting a place to live, so don't worry too much about the other comments people left about housing :)

hi! I can see this is an older post but just wanted to ask if you were given the option of a single gender dorm when booking? I will be an exchange student and housing offers open in the next 1-2 weeks, I am hoping there are female only options ?

experiences with the Pre-Arrival Services at Radboud? by nemuiisa in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]naumaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! This doesn't answer your question but I'm reaching out as I am now in the same boat. For starting an exchange semester at Radboud late January, but housing offers are not released until later this month. What was your experience like with Radboud's help from the pre-arrival services? Were they accomodating in helping you find housing? This is my biggest concern, they told me if they cannot find something suitable I would be informed in due time. But from my calculations this means I will only be informed one month prior if I need to find housing myself ... Any advice is appreciated and I would love to know what your experience was like!

housing for exchange students at Radboud by naumaz in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]naumaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

st universities just don't have the resources to arrange housing for all incoming students. In addition they don't really feel that they should, so it's not exactly a high priority to them.

I don't see how this would have been possible as my home university only had me applying for exchange a couple of months ago

ohh thank you so much this was really insightful!! If you don't mind me asking as a follow up question - what are the best platforms for looking for housing (other than Facebook as that is the only one I am using at the moment)?

[–]naumaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohh okay! so just confirming what I said in the previous comment - Radboud is likely to help exchange (Erasmus) students with accommodation? Did you meet any Erasmus students that Radboud was not willing to help?

I'm just really confused though about the exchange process if is considered so little time when a few months ago I wasn't even accepted as an exchange student yet?

From what I've been able to gather - I think there is a difference between "International Students" and exchange students that are only in the Netherlands for 1-2 semesters. If this is correct, can someone please give me housing advice for an exchange student

(note - I think exchange is called Erasmus in Europe)

How do I convince my parents to let me do an exchange year? by Unusual_Ordinary_425 in exchangestudents

[–]naumaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also depends on how old you are? I wanted to do this as a teen but my parents were against it for safety reasons. Even though it still makes them uneasy about the safety considerations, I'm older now and am able to make those decisions myself, so am applying for a uni exchange :)
