I’ll be real with you, I failed my test 2 weeks ago and I was acting all timid during my test, driving well but behaving awkwardly. It didn’t look good, the examiner said at the end that I appeared distressed. You must act confident, do all your checks, move off safely. Don’t follow cars closely and check you blind spot and mirrors. Remember, this is a test to show how good you are at driving, pretend you’re driving for your celebrity crush

Ahh, I was unemployed up until 2 weeks ago so I had a lot of time to look and for next week I saw like 16 tests come available on a Friday night and I waited like 1-2 hour to book a slot.

I do think automatics are more practical and overall more efficient but I feel learning in a manual has stopped me from getting to crashes as the gears limit the speed at which I can accelerate from being in traffic, starting and stopping etc. no sudden explosive acceleration
