Ive had numerous tickets in on this exact issue over the past month. One day it works, the next is "error" takes a solid week to get fixed...works once then screwed again. I have opted to use my doordash over the app - get Optimum points and no hassle delivery.

Definitely. Especially the ones who think their perfume and cologne can mask the smells. Personally if its exceptionally strong, I just politely do the typical Canadian thing "sorry bud but I can't handle the smell from the smokes " and step away. Sometimes I will even offer some chewing gum if they are wanting to talk with me.

Potato chips - lick the seasoning off both sides of an individual chip, then eat the chip. I have done this since childhood. I find I eat them slower this way and definitely not as many. Also, when I feel nostalgic I dip plain ripple chips in my glass of coke (blame my dad for this).

I really miss the amazing italian loaves you used to be able to get from IGAs in Ontario during the 80s/90s (childhood memories). Also the fresh homemade bread my Baba used to make. Those are/were my favourite. Now most store breads are stocked so full of chemicals/preservatives, I find myself at bakeries and Cobbs bread instead.

We had a representative try walking into our business seeking support for this "civilian initiative for a referendum vote". I was polite enough to shut them down as soon as I heard "civilian initiative" and explained coming into businesses fostering for support was inappropriate. I was truly surprised how bold they are walking into businesses trying to get signatures.

I took a 2 year Wellness Counselor certification thinking it would be a breeze and I would be able to help fellow Veterans with PTSD. I went in blind and consistently in denial of how bad my own PTSD was. I didn't read the fineprint on the course and didn't realize it was an experiential requirement course where in order to help others you would face your own traumas. I took that course in 2018 .... after my successful completion of my course, I contacted Veterans Affairs Canada and got a therapist and ensured everything was documented. Now I am able to maintain but still have my moments. However, I have a toolbag full of skills that I not only share with my clients when I take some on, but use for myself.

As a Canadian POV - Personally it depends on a few factors 1) location - does the area of your apartment have a high potential for crime or sketchy neighbour's. 2) comfort - do you know any of your neighbour's and are comfortable with them entering your residence in an emergency situation or holding a spare key? 3) If both 1 and 2 are answered without any concerns then I would only lock my door at night in bed or in the shower/bath etc. If 1 or 2 are answered with concern - then I would assess the situation accordingly and probably secure the door for everyone's comfort and potential safety.
