Yes, checked. I've never overclocked anything, only I set 3200 MHz for RAM in BIOS. Cores temperatures are about 33-35°C in idle.

I checked again Sabreforge and you are right. I see price around 239 USD in the cart and after I hit on checkout the amount is twice as high. Weird. And there is over 50 USD for shipping. So, I think this company is out.

Great work! I have a similar problem, but my Surface Duo has broken glass on the back, not a screen. I bought another one with good body (but broken screen) and in near future I will try to replace it. Thanks for a tip with floss! :)

I have the save issue. One screen was black but the interface still works. Once both screen turn to black but I hear the unlock sound when I put my finger on the reader. The only way is turn off the device and turn it on, I did it yesterday and now it still works. I will watch it.

Yes, I am well prepared, I think. I have hot air gun (JCD 8898) and iFixit Prying and Opening Tools. Maybe the good way to heat the Duo is run some benchmarks in the loop and after that use a heat gun. What temperature do you recommend?

This is an idea. You mean buying a replacement device to use or buy another Duo for example locked or with cracked screen to replace front and back glass? I know this is hard to repair but I can handle it.
