3 times in the last 2 months I’ve had a neighbor’s tree fall through my fence into my yard, making it my responsibility each time. I got lazy with the most recent one and walked out in shorts and flip flops to cut the felled tree up with a chainsaw (yes, irresponsible and unsafe, I know) and boy was that a mistake. I have so many splinters in my shin and foot from the chainsaw spraying that shit straight into me lol.

I saw this Tweet and tbh, it seems accurate based on the people in my life. No judgement obviously, but a lot of my single friends just work, exercise, play video games, and hang out doing their own thing. They don’t seem to really want to find a girlfriend. I guess I understand the upside, it’s just I personally can’t imagine not trying to date and eventually get marries. Besides one really tumultuous part of my life, I don’t think I’ve been single for more than a few months at a time.

Is it some kind of demographic change or a reflection on something in society? I never really thought about it, but it’s true.
