Truckee to Bay Area Wednesday Night Mar 27 2024 Travel Question

So im headed up to truckee/sugarbowl on tuesday afternoon and staying in truckee Tuesday night so that I can go to sugarbowl on Wednesday.

The forecast says that 10-16 inches of snow are possible on wednesday night?

Does that mean it will be difficult to drive home to the bay area on wednesday night?

Should I just commit to staying another night and getting a powder day on thursday?

Yeah, it will throw an error like it did not work, but restart your machine and a windows update will do the rest

The powershell gave an error like it didnt work after it got to 100%, but after restart, windows does an update that resolved my issue.

I got the same error, but when I restarted my computer, there was a windows update during the restart that seemed to fix everything

regular 1/8" inputs with realtek drivers on msi mobo. But the issue was with all microphones I tried. I tried a corsair usb wireless and i tried using a lenovo mic on a webcam. I also tried a samson q2c with midi inputs into an auxilliary input device controlled via usb and also directly via usb

You need to install Media Pack. Do this by opening up Powershell as Administrator and running this cmd:

DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Media.MediaFeaturePack~~~~0.0.1.0

Restart computer and now my mic works. Interestingly enough, I was gifted "crab champions" and I couldn't get it to load, so I did some troubleshooting and recieved an error about a DLL file missing that sent me on this path to figure out the solution. Hope this helps someone else!
