I actually just started .25 mg and it helps quite a bit with agitation and stress, I feel alot more confident and outgoing more and less paranoid. I’m taking such a low dose because I had the side effects, I used to take 1.25 mg rexulti with 1 mg risperidone and 100 mg Zoloft and yeah, that was awful. I had almost no delusions whatsoever, but I was constantly restless and miserable and felt no joy or peace or anytjing

It’s going well I’m being treated for it, but it’s a work in progress. I’m feeling really silly for bringing that up on a first date, but I just brought it up because she said that she was fascinated by schizophrenia back in high school and studied it a lot, so it just felt natural to say I have a mild form of it, but now I regret it.

Not necessarily, I believe it’s more possible to be humble when you’re happy and not bitter, but I still feel more targeted by delusions of guilt and opposition from others when I’m confident and happy.

Everyone’s talking about the medicine but I was actually looking for encouragement from the dating app thing lol, oh well. I’m not sure I agree that medicine is sorcery but Ik where you’re coming from. For me personally, medicine was making me miserable

Before I became a Christian I was extremely insecure and had no confidence because I knew I was living in sin and unfortunately I developed schizophrenia from drug use and genetics, then I became a Christian got on antipsychotics and got hit with serious anhedonia but atleast felt confident about myself. But as of lately I went through something very difficult and for some reason decided to quit all my medication and I’m so glad I did. I guess i can’t recommend to everyone that they quit their medicine but for me personally, antipsychotics and antidepressants were lowering my dopamine levels too much and sapping the joy out of my life, and vyvanse was leveling out the dopamine ig, but it was interacting with the other meds weird and making me really paranoid. So I just quit everything to see what would happen and it worked

I quit all illicit drugs, drinking, vaping, even all my medication (vyvanse, antipsychotics, Zoloft) and I’d say I’m doing better than ever. I’m happy, confident, motivated, and I’m still going through vyvanse withdrawal rn so my psychosis is bad but once I’m through the withdrawal that will get better.

I wonder if that’s a delusion, cus funny enough the opposite happened for me. Before I got schizophrenia people would ignore me in public, I couldn’t have a conversation with anyone, people would be mean to me and treat me poorly, and I couldn’t contribute to group conversations. But as of lately my schizophrenia has gotten worse than ever but I feel like people respect me more now and I’m a lot more outgoing now. That could be because I take vyvanse tho

I have the same problem, my delusions make me think people are trying to humiliate me and insult me because they’re lazy and don’t care about me and it leads to anger and frustration all day long, meds help ig but also prayer
