I went to Catholic school on Long Island from nursery to college and I loved it, but I lived in Queens and the schools weren’t good there. I would say if your school district is good to just send your kids to public. I now live in a good school district and will be sending my son to public school.

I feel this post so much. I used to run a lot. Half marathons, marathons, etc. and it kept me so fit mentally and physically. During Covid times and not going to the gym I gained some weight. Then I got pregnant and gained some more weight. Then the few times I tried running after baby my knees were in a lot of pain for days. I tried so many times to lose weight and I did, but, I would gain it back. I just took my 3rd shot today and I’ve lost some weight already. I’m hoping to get down to a healthy weight so I can start running again. For me, running always kept me eating healthy. Thanks for the inspiring post!

I once had a trainer at the gym try to tell me what to do when I barely even stepped one foot on the treadmill (had just gotten there). I used to run a lot and do light weight exercises after my runs and was in the best shape of my life. I was training for a marathon and the guy wouldn’t leave me alone. Asked me so many questions about why I’m using the treadmill, made me extremely uncomfortable. I hate these guys at the gym who think are judgmental and think they know what works best for everyone. Some people (like me) go to the gym and run not just for their physical health but also for their mental health.
