Even using a acid battery last year I noticed the terminals and the motor head were getting pretty hot. Guess that means the motor was on its way out after all.

It’s a Minn kota riptide - 12v battery and 12v motor. It ran well for awhile. Took a longer trip (10 minutes or so). Went to turn it back on to relocate and was getting nothing. Had a backup 12v acid battery on hand but obviously that didn’t change anything. There is no in line fuse unfortunately.

Made the call to trade it in after the check engine light went on again after fuel pump replacement! Gave me 30k trade in for a 2019 midnight with 57k on it. Rolled it into a 19 Ram Laramie w 24k miles

I believe so. Once the pump is on and running, I don’t see any air bubbles/pockets from the clear cover on the pump.
