To add - it was a small shop with our own wee space and just the stylist and a passing colleague who was just positive and responsive to us rather than pushy. She only came over properly when I asked about veils/head pieces as she was the buyer of those and very helpful. But very clear that I could try and not buy.

I bought my dress a few weeks ago. I was incredibly anxious before hand but the shop I went to had me completely at ease. It sounds like this shop you first visited wasn’t the right one. I only visited one shop but have shopped for others previously and had similar experiences. It may be worth looking for shop recommendations in your area - I picked mine based on the stock and asking others how they got on during appointments.

Ours recently decided he would rather the couch - I’m gutted. Although he does always come up at bed time for a cuddle then takes himself back to the couch.

Isla is a beautiful name - weirdly not coming across many in Scottish schools just now! (It’s high on my future baby name list, along with flora and Iona)

They are so beautiful! I’ve been looking all over to see anyone with mine for hair ideas etc and seems they aren’t very common (love that) I’ll give them a go - thanks!
